RichView (richview.uk) is a personal hobby project by Daniel Vecera. This privacy policy explains how we handle data.

2. Data Collection

  • Self-hosted instances: No data is sent to RichView or any third party. All data stays on your infrastructure.
  • richview.uk (hosted version): We collect minimal data necessary to operate the service:
    • Account information (email, name) when you register
    • Reports you create (stored on our servers)
    • Basic access logs (IP address, browser, timestamps)

3. Cookies

We use essential cookies only (session authentication). No tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, no third-party cookies.

4. Data Storage

Data is stored on Fly.io infrastructure in London (LHR region). Reports are stored in SQLite databases on encrypted volumes.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to: access your data, correct your data, delete your data, export your data, restrict processing, object to processing.

  • Cloudflare: CDN and DNS (see Cloudflare Privacy Policy)
  • Fly.io: Server hosting (see Fly.io Privacy Policy)
  • GitHub: Authentication (optional, only if you use GitHub login)
  • Google: Authentication (optional, only if you use Google login)

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
